These drawings are part of a research project on images of ballroom dancers and various other performing arts across diverse stages.The central theme of these pieces is set on issues such as individual freedom, gender identity, and the fight for social equality. The foundation of this work lies in the belief that each person’s individual expression and representation are crucial to the advancement of society. “Ser” (to be) is the motto for human existence and the quality of this experience, encompassing identity, choices, and the dignity of living out these choices. It’s a perspective on humanity through the lens of individual freedom, underscoring the importance of this discourse in the artistic field. A reflection of the certainty that humanity, as part of nature, encompasses diversity.
